WES（World Education Services）成立于1974年，是美国的非营利性组织。它为有意在美国或加拿大留学或工作的人提供成绩认证，是北美最大的资历评估公司，其评估认证报告在美国高校中使用非常普遍。每年九月是留学申请的高峰季节，在留学的各个国家中，美国留学成绩单认证是必不可少的一环。所以，对于想去北美留学或将来有需要在北美找工作甚至移民的伙伴来说，进行WES成绩认证，是很有必要的。从2018年7月开始，中国学位及教育文凭持有者申请WES认证，可以直接由学生的本科学校的学籍管理处或学生本人（要求密封）寄出认证的相关材料。
