个人陈述

我是panda，我出生在一个文化氛围浓厚的家庭，父亲是电信工程师，母亲是教师，我很感恩我父母为我做的一切。

我来自中国北京大兴区第一中学，北京既是一座有文化底蕴的古都，又是充满了科技和人才的现代化大城市。大兴在中文是兴旺发达的意思，简称“邑”，元明清时被称为天下第一县。

我渴望能去圣保罗高中读书，我喜欢美国自由，包容，追求真理的文化，我喜欢洛杉矶这个生机勃勃的城市，我曾去过洛杉矶，亲眼见到了美国，参观过校园，我喜欢洒满阳光吹着湿润海风的洛杉矶的气候和每个人都堆满友好的笑意和露出洁白的牙齿跟你说hi。

圣保罗天主教高中是我父亲的朋友推荐给我的，我也通过了我的同学去了解你们，我非常向往你的学校，因为我想拓宽自己的眼界，获得更多的机会面对挑战. 但我很也舍不得离开我的母校。

关于学业，了解到圣保罗高中是研究型学习，而不是考试型，虽然也需要考试. 我非常喜欢这样，我总是有自己的想法。我在和大家一起讨论的时候会有不同的思考角度，我目前就就读于于9年级，班级里有35个学生，在小组讨论里，我经常鼓励大家说出自己的观点，我不喜欢别人告诉我答案，我想自己去寻找发现，我也会因为回答了“不是标准答案”而被批评。

Personal Statement

       My name is panda. I was born in a family which is full of culture. My father is an engineer, and my mother is a teacher. I appreciate all what they have done for me.

       I come from the First Middle School of Daxing in Beijing. Beijing is not only the ancient capital with rich cultural heritage, it is also a modern city full of technology and talent. In Chinese, Daxing means prosperity, is called “Yi” for short, and is known as the first county in the world in Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties.

       I want to go to St. Paul High school. I like American culture, which advocates freedom, tolerance, and pursuit of truth. I like the vibrant city of Los Angeles, where I have been to, witnessed the United States in person there, and visited the campus. I like the sunny weather, the humid sea blow, everyone’s friendly smile, and their white teeth when saying hi.

       St. Paul High School is what my father’s friend recommended to me, and I also learned from my friends about your school. I am longing for your school, because I want to broaden my experience, and get more opportunities to face the challenges, but I also cannot bear to leave my alma mater.

       About school, I learned that St. Paul High School is research-based, rather than exam-oriented, although it has tests all the time. I really like it. I always have my own ideas. I will think differently when I am in discussion with others. I am currently enrolled in ninth grade, with 35 students in our class. In group discussions, I always encourage my classmates to express their views. I do not like people tell me the answer, I would like to find the answer by my own, although often I was criticized by answering the “non-standard answer”.

       In my point of interest, I am an open-minded, hardworking person. In order to find the answer, I will try regardless of the night and the day. When problems arise, I have a lot of options and a lot of channels to solve. In short, I can solve.

       I hope someday I can through my own efforts and cooperation with others establish a mathematics laboratory, by way of mathematics calculating and analyzing the athlete’s body structure and function, so that Chinese football can be raised to a very high level.

       I love football crazily, I also studied taekwondo.

       I want to be enrolled in St. Paul High school. I will try to finish school. I have a timetable, and I can take care of myself and rapidly assimilate into the class. I hope you can consider me, accept me, and give me a chance to prove myself.
