英语动词的转译技巧

　　英语的动词和汉语的动词都很丰富，因此在大多情况下，英语的动词都可直接译为相应或相近的汉语动词。但是，翻译公司的工作人员在翻译过程中经常会遇到英语中某些动词尤其是一些状态动词，所表示的概念很难直接用汉语动词来表达。在这种情况下，可把这类动词转译为汉语的名词，以适应汉语的表达习惯，试看以下各例。

　　一、英语动词转译成名词
　　英语中很多由名词派生的动词，以及由名词转换的动词，在翻译成汉语的时候， 往往不易找到相对应的动词，这时候可以将其转译为名词。
　　1) As the war progressed, he would symbolize their frustrations, the embodiment of all e-vik.随着战争的进行，他成了他们受挫的莖延，成了一切坏事的化身。
　　2) Our age is witnmirag' a profound political change.我们的时代是深刻的政治变化的 见证。
　　3 ) The most U. S. spy satellites are designed to bum up in the earth's atmosphere after completing their missions.美国大多数间谋卫星，按其设计，是在完成使命后，在大气 层中焚毁。
　　另外，在被动句式中的某些动词，可以翻译成“受（遭）到+名词”“予（加） 以+名词”的结构。
　　4) Snow was treated very shabbily by the U. S. press and officialdom during this period， victimized for his views.在这期间，由于他所持观点的缘故，斯诺受到了美国新闻界和 政界极不公正的对待。

　　5) Satellites, however, must be closely watched, for they are constantly being tugged at by the gravitational attraction of the sun, moon and earth.由于经常受到太阳、月亮及地球 引力的堅跑，对卫星的活动必须加以密切的观察。
　　6) And he warned that the improvement in bilateral relations might be ujeopardized'' by a continuation of the war.他还警告说，如果战争继续下去，双边关系的改善有可能受至lj“损害”。
　　二、英语动词转译成副词
　　1)In his six consecutive speeches, Nasser indulged in violent attacks on the Baghdad government.在接连六次的演说中，纳赛尔二迷地对巴格达政府进行猛烈的攻击。
