形容词、同义词、近义词在翻译中的重复使用

　　一、形容词的重复

　　翻译公司译员运用形容词在英语句子中可以同时修饰若干个名词或与若干个介词短语连用，而在翻 译成汉语时，通常要将形容词重复译出。

　　1)He was proficient both as a flyer and as a navigator.他既精于飞行，又善于导航。

　　在英语句子中，有时为了避免用词重复，翻译公司译员常常采用同义词或近义词来取代前面出 现过的词。为了不引起误解，译成汉语时一般要将该同义词或近义词重复译出，使名 称同前面出现过的词达成一致。这种情况多出现在科技英语中。
